Learn to Crochet

Community Education / Adult / Hobbies & Personal Enrichment -
Community Education - Summer 2026

During this crochet class participants will learn information about yarn and patterns, how to chain, single crochet, how to increase and decrease. Participants need to bring a worsted weight yarn & I/9 (5.5 mm) or J/10 (6 mm) crochet hook. Contact the instructor if you have any questions about the supplies.

The first class is to learn the basics. The two weeks between are for practice and finding a pattern you'd like to start. The second class is for follow up questions/refinement and/or support on starting a project. There are three sessions offered to support as many people as possible who want to learn crocheting during the busy summer.
