Jumpstart provides refresher classes (math, reading and other creative learning) for all students going into K-8 (Fall 2025).
School District of New Richmond - School Age Care
In this three session class, participants will be introduced to basic techniques of hand building, throwing on a potter’s wheel, and glazing. Using stoneware clay and earth tone glazes, participants will create pieces of art using an electric wheel, slab roller and extruder. The first two sessions are devoted to creating and the last session will focus on glazing. Participants are encouraged to bring an apron or towel. A $40 supply fee is due to the instructor at the beginning of class.
