MPC Project

Professional Development for K-12 Math Teachers

This comprehensive professional development program focuses on enhancing instructional practices in key areas of mathematics education, including:

  • Mathematical modeling
  • Building Thinking Classrooms
  • The 5 Practices for Orchestrating Productive Mathematics Discussions
  • Language routines
  • Standards for Mathematical Practice
  • Progressions of mathematical concepts across grade levels in algebra, fractions, ratios and proportions, functions, and data & statistics

Full-group sessions to build shared understanding, along with targeted breakout session for grade bands:  K-5, 6-8 and 9-12.

Cost:  $450/person - this includes 25 hours of professional development and lunch at each in-person session.
